12) East Window and Detail of Angel

The magnificent east window - Christ in Ascension - was designed in 1930 by Harry A. Payne, of the Bromsgrove School of Artists. The overall style has a definite pre-Raphaelite flavour despite the late date. The visual impact of the window always leaves a lasting impression on visitors.
