Aylestone 2012 - your local Olympics!
Spirit of Aylestone are planning a community Fun Day, linked to the Olympics, for Sunday 1st July. Based down at Aylestone Hall Gardens, there will be a fun run, traditional children games, a football competition, one or two celebrities, and hopefully a bit of inter-school, inter-church, and inter-pub rivalry over the tug-of-war rope! The whole day will begin with a bried open air celebratory worship service and throughout the day, we hope to raise funds for sports charities, especially Hope Academy.

Though overseen by Spirit of Aylestone, we would love to draw in many partners from the community, such as the schools, other community groups, uniformed organisations, pubs, businesses etc. If you would like to be involved, please get in contact with Tim Fergusson on 283 2527.
